Spatini FAQs
Spatini spaghetti sauce mix has been discontinued for retail distribution. You will have a hard time finding it in any local food stores. However it is not discontinued to many large food distributers that sell to restaurants and other facilities. This is how we are able to offer fresh Spatini for sale to you.
Most of what you will find on the Internet and from us are 15 ounce packs. These are much larger then the boxes originally found in the stores. A 15 ounce pack will produce 2.5 gallons of sauce.
I have talked with so many people that miss having this sauce. Order Spatini today from us and you will be having that famous spaghetti dinner again soon!

Is it certified Kosher? If so what designation and by which authority?
Hi Rebecca. I will get an answer for you tomorrow on that but my first thought is no since I don’t remember seeing that on any of the packaging. I will update this comment once I find out for sure.
I have some of the old three packs from a few years ago. Can I still use them?
My last box is over 10 YEARS OLD! I still use it sparingly, and it’s still great. But that’s just me.
I would say no to the old 3 packs. They have to be at least 2 years old. Just to be on the safe side…
Why is it discontinued? Any thought of bring back the 3 pack boxes? We really miss it. It is a hassel to buy through the internet. Would rather just pick it up at the local grocery store… Please bring it back!!!
Dealy missing your product!
Do you know the amount from this large size that would equal one of the old packets? My father’s recipe calls for one packet. Thanks!
Nevermind
I should read everything before I comment!
Rebecca – This product is not Kosher.
Chelene – Sorry we do not know the answers either. We are not the manufacturer of this product.
Allison – No problem! Glad you found it.
I’m interested in the package size you have for Spatini. Where can I order it, and for what price? It makes the best sauce I’ve ever eaten. I bought some several years ago in Front Royal,Va. and have been looking for it ever since. Thank you for your reply. Carole Rivers
Carole,
I am sorry to inform you that to my knowledge it is only available online. You can order it here on our website and all the pricing is listed. http://www.spatini.info
Thanks,
Joe
I have an old recipe that calls for one packet of Spatini. How many ounces, or teaspoons, was that?
I knew it would come! The question on how much Spatini was in the old package! I have answered this hundreds of times via email! The answer is on our home page where you purchase Spatini.
But just for reference…. here it is yet again…
It originally came 3 packs to a box.
Each pack made 1 pint of sauce.
The box was 2.4 oz and each pack was .08 oz
.08 oz = 8 tsps = 2 tbsp + 2 tsp = 40 ml
My dad always used this and was really bummed when it discontinued. He now uses Lawry’s Spaghetti Sauce mix. Since Spatini is also made by Lawry’s, any chance it might be the same product with new packaging? I am going to compare the ingredients but either way I think I will order my dad some of the “real thing!”
I think the ingredients in the Lawrys Spaghetti Sauce mix is different then Spatini. Some folks have told me that they tried it and it tasted different. I would stick with the original Spatini!
Please help me kind this. We love this for School Spaghetti, can not find from any sales rep. Where can I buy this? Or do I have to go thur you.
You can buy it from our website if you wish. Some food distributors may carry it that sell to restaurants and such.
Can you tell me what the shelf life is for this product? Thank you
The packages are fresh and received in weekly from the manufacturer. They have a code on that I am uncertain how to decode it. I have been told though that the shelf life is about 12-18 months.
I have old individual packets that I have had for a few years and they still taste great. They have been kept in a dark pantry and are fine. I think once the larger packet is opened it needs to be poured into a container that can be sealed tightly.
came I buy spatini spagheti sauce in any stores on long island,ny
I said this before and I will say it again and again. Please do not ask if you can buy Spatini in your area. I have no idea the answer to this… but I would venture to say no as it is very difficult to find. Sorry!
I grew up eating this stuff almost every week! When it started disappearing from store shelves years ago, my mom found a place that sold it while traveling. She bought everything they had, and we used that supply for nearly 10 years. Not sure what the “official” shelf life is, but it still tasted great after all those years.
